Welcome to HealthMatch!
At HealthMatch, we’re on a mission to accelerate Medicine by putting patients at the heart of the drug development process. We’re starting by transforming the way they connect with clinical trials; bringing a patient- and digital-first approach that makes it faster and easier to access innovative therapies and life-saving medications than has ever been possible before. We sit right at the intersection of Medicine and technology, and are constantly innovating to drive better outcomes for our patients.
80% of clinical trials are delayed because they can’t find the patients to help; and patients don’t know how to engage with them. We’re closing that gap, using our in-house technology to match the right patients with the right trials as seamlessly as possible.
We launched in the US at the end of 2021, and have seen incredible traction since then. HealthMatch has grown to over 1 million users worldwide and has connected them to over 6,000 trials, and we are just getting started. We are backed by some of Australia’s most successful investors (Square Peg, Folklore) and are looking for driven people to continue to scale the HealthMatch platform.
This is a junior role with huge scope for growth. Help us accelerate medical research by matching patients with clinical trials and work with a high-calibre experienced team in a high-growth tech startup.
You need to be incredibly smart, dedicated, and ready to tackle any challenge to ensure our customers’ clinical trials are successful. Your primary task? Understand customer needs for our active clinical trials and craft effective campaigns to find the right participants.

Expectations

  • Razor-sharp attention to detail.
  • Natural problem solver who prioritizes effectively.
  • Always ready to jump into any task, big or small.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to assist.
  • Keen interest in diving deeper into the clinical trials industry.
  • Ambition to scale your skills as the company expands.

Responsibilities

  • Do whatever it takes to ensure our customers succeed; without your effort, patients won’t match with clinical trials.
  • Design and optimize social media ads, primarily with Facebook & Canva.
  • Spearhead engaging email and SMS campaigns with meticulous tracking and reporting.
  • Be relentless in your approach, always monitoring and optimizing campaign performance, A/B testing included.
  • Admin tasks? You've got them covered, from data entry to logistics, ensuring all campaign documentation is a paragon of organization.
  • Partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams and external trial sites to sync up strategies.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in the workplace.
  • We don’t care what you were doing before, we just want someone who’s smart and done well in whatever you’ve been working on.
  • You might be a grad consultant looking to pivot, an accomplished EA who wants to develop a career in marketing/growth, or a junior growth marketer who wants broader experience in a startup.
  • Exposure to and/or hunger to learn about growth marketing e.g. Meta/Google Ads, analytics, SQL, email/SMS tools.
This is a full-time hybrid position with 2-3 days per week in our Sydney CBD office. Interviews will be conducted in-person.
We encourage anyone to apply who is excited but may not meet all requirements for the role. Most of us didn’t tick all the boxes when we joined, so we have an open mind.
When you apply, please tell us about the things you’ve done to make you who you are (think your LinkedIn and/or CV), but don’t stop there - we want to hear more about your future: your connection with our mission (to accelerate medical research by putting patients at the heart of the drug development process) and what you think that you (and only you!) can bring to the team.
HealthMatch prides itself on its diverse and inclusive culture. We are an equal opportunity workplace and evaluate qualified applicants without regard to cultural background, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status or anything else.
